Most of these need only to be used once a month and all you have to do is simply to apply the small volume of medication onto the back of your dogs or cats. However, with the mass use of these products, many have been found to be loosing its effect and that why we have new drugs coming into the market. Many however fail to see the need to have an integrated plan in the war against these pesky little creatures. They focus on their pets all the time and they failed to treat their surrounding environment as well. This allows the fleas to continue breeding in the environment and re-infesting pets again. The take home message here is that, to completely get rid of fleas, you need to do more than merely treating your pets. You need to work on the environment as well.
